5A helpful, humorous book for new kitten owners.  Feb 20, 1999
By d12c4k9s "imissco"
My boyfriend and I recently fostered 7 orphaned 3 week old kittens. This book was invaluable! It talked about what to expect every week of the kittens life. When they were supposed to open their eyes, when they would start to play, what was normal and what needed attention. Also discusses their cognitive development. It was so clearly written and enjoyable, even humorous, that my boyfriend read it cover to cover and he's not a reader.

5Kitten Care  Jan 09, 2009
By Sally A. Esckilsen-Bush
I am a foster for several vet clinics and the Humane Society of Huron Valley. I have been caring for orphaned kittens for approximately 12 years. This book was and still is a tremendous resource for developmental identification of kittens in our care. My only wish is that the publisher would reprint it, so that I could find new copies. It is getting difficult to find any copies, if I want to share it with a foster family in training (and this book should be on all of our bookshelves!) If Amazon has any say, a publisher reprint would be greatly appreciated! Anyway, I love this reference!
