I have a 24yr old arab mare who was diagnosed with cushing's disease this past spring.
My barn manager and I had been putting her medicine on her grain, up until she
decided that she just wouldn't eat the medicine laced grain anymore. Having spent
11yrs in small animal medicine, I thought "If you can trick a dog into eating pills
by putting it into a treat, why not a horse?". The stud muffins were perfect for it.
Now, she gets her grain in the morning and a special treat at night, little knowing
that the treat also contains her medicine. There's no fuss or fighting. And the
best side effect? my barn manager is able to give her a treat every night-something
she loves to do. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

My horse of course loves these. I have a friend who has a 20 year old Appaloosa and she said he has never liked any type of treat. Only apples and carrots. I gave him one of these and he loved it. A+ in my book!
