Designed as the perfect Fast Binocular, the 7x30 Navigator Pro is ideal for all types of watercraft including sport fishing boats, smaller fresh water boats, coastal sailboats and powerboats that have need for a high performance binocular with a navigational compass for locating fishing hotspots, racing or general navigation.

The 7x30 Navigator Pro weighs only 20 ozs. and incorporates the exclusive Steiner Sports-Auto-Focus system. Once set for the user's eyes, the binocular keeps all objects in focus at distances from approximately 20 yards to infinity. It can also be faster in locating navigational marks, hazards, harbor entrances, boats and other man made objects when used in conjunction with the integral compass. The right side compass is illuminated electronically, allowing the user to get a bearing instantly in the dark.

The 7x30 Navigator Pro also makes a great back-up or second binocular next to a larger or more powerful

  • Built-in compass system with range-finding reticle for determining distance

  • Auto-focus system keeps objects in focus from 20 yards to infinity

5Excellent Marine Binoculars  Jun 17, 2010
By Ken Linton "Bad Doc"
After having used inferior products for years, I decided to step up to a pairof Steiners. I was dead set on a pair of 7x50s, but was fortunate to use a friends 7x30s a few weeks ago. The 7x50s are great for low light and to remain shipboard. However, in my opinion they are a little too heavy for extended use for taking bearings and hanging around one's neck. A hand-bearing compass is certainly light, but can often be of little use when the bearing is to a distant or small mark. The 7x30 Pro C (with compass) solve all these problems. And are light and small enough to pack in your carry-on when you are flying to the Caribbean or Mediterranean.

I bought mine from B&H Photo (perhaps the best store in NY) and they came with lens covers, rain guard, strap and carrying case.

2Product is Not As Advertised  Apr 29, 2012
By Joel
Product delivered is not as advertised. The binoculars received had the bearing compass, but not the "built-in range finding horizontal and vertical mil reticle" which is mentioned in four (4) locations in the product specifications. Attempting to have these exchanged by the seller for a pair that provides these features has not proven successful. Very disappointed.

4Disappointed  Nov 30, 2009
By John
The Steiner Navigator Pro binoculars are excellent. Great performance in a small package. I am disappointed that, unlike previous Steiner binoculars I have owned, these did not include the protective lens covers.
