A very nice set of binoculars Jan 03, 2007
By R. Estolano These binoculars come with a tint that is supposed to make it easier to detect wildlife. At first I was worried that this green tint would make everything look green, but I really don't notice any type of color distortion while looking though these binoculars.
The focus works really well for me- in my cheaper binoculars, it's difficult to reach focus, but this isnt't the case here.
The binoculars feel very light-weight. I barely feel them in my coat pocket and around my neck.
Finally, they come in a very nice case- very sturdy and good looking.

Great set for watching animals. Dec 08, 2008

Great little set of binoculars that have clear and crisp optics. Steiner uses a coating to increase the contrast in the reds and browns found in animals fur. I was able to see Bald Eagles sitting in trees very clearly. My only wish is that they made ones with a reticle in a cheaper model. Rubber armor is great, focus is easy and the optical quality is perfect. They include a nice carry case and a neoprene cover for the eye cups. I recommend them to anyone who enjoys watching animals or hunting. Work well for general use as well. 10x26 power in a very small package. I bought these due to the Steiner Safari working so well in the past.

Steiner 10X26 Predator Pro Binocular. Apr 25, 2009
By J. Douglass Paul Jr. I am very happy with my Steiner binocular. They were exactly as described. They are small and light enough that they easily fit into my jacket or vest pocket. I got them for just that purpose. I walk daily and always carry them. They are rugged and well built. I love the double end cap feature. It makes them quickly available with out having to worry where you are going to put the caps with out loosing them. It also encourages you to use them which is good for the glasses too.
Here in New Hampshire most of my walking is in the woods which take me past a beaver pond. There is nearly always something that I want to see close up and the Steiners do the job. I have other binoculars which are fine to carry in a vehicle or boat. In fact their weight and large size make them easier to stabilize, but they are not much fun to carry around. I do find that I have to use a tree or some fixed object to keep my Steiners still. I did expect that and find their good points far out weigh that, the only bad thing that I can say about them. It is going to be a factor with any small and light weight binocular. It is simply a trade off for the portability of them. I would highly recommend them if your need is a great pair of binoculars to carry with you wether it be hunting, birding, or just for fun.

Traveler Apr 24, 2009
By Jim R. Arias Great optics and size for travel or to keep in you vehicle or to take with you hiking or biking. The only negative is, it would be nice to have larger sun blockers where you look through, this is one of Steiner's trademarks that separate them from the field.

Great Binoculars! Nov 03, 2007
By Keith G. Ross These binoculars are really good for the price. I've read Steiner is the best and that's what I wanted. Very pleased with color and clarity and simple operation, nice little carry case too!
