I bought these in black to wear when in training for hunter/jumper lessons. The boots were actually the size they claim which was nice since I have narrow feet. The actual boot's material is cheap when I'm use to buying high priced leather boots. they are great for the price but are not leather. That was the only down side. Great just for lesson and use around the barn not for competitions.

I bought these primarily for stomping around in the rain of Washington State but without sacrificing my style, and they're great for winter walks & hiking - the boot is lined with a soft felt that's not too thick and provides plenty of insulation - but they're not so easy to pair with jeans. I'm 5'3" and find that most of my jeans don't quite tuck into the boots without bunching up weirdly and don't quite fit over them either. The ankle support is wonderful, again, for hiking, but I wouldn't recommend these if you're not planning on using them for serious outdoor activity.
