Stainless Aug 05, 2008
By D. Thacker Works just like it should. Easy to install and the price is right. Cheaper than a plastic coated one from the local store. Me and my cow are both happy!
stainless salt block holder Aug 07, 2011
By Corner Creek This is what they say about this product: .Stainless salt lick block holder can hold up to the determined horse.
Well I have had 1 brake on me and my other 4 are rusty within just 2 weeks. I only have minature horses so they don't have the power as a bigger horse. Stainless does not rust!!! I bought 5 of them what a waste of $50.00

Is this a Scandanavian Design? Sep 22, 2006

For the price, you aren't going to be able to beat this salt block holder. There are more expensive models out there, but for a slick and timeless design you aren't going to get anything better than this in stainless steel. This totally makes me think of Bang and Oleffson. I keep a salt block right next to the pool table in my recreation room. Yes, I realize that too much salt can probably decrease your stamina in a pool game, but I've gotten used to it. I keep a small salt lick in my fanny pack, but at home I go with the best. If you go with the best you may as well dress it up a little. This is Scandanavian Design at it's best without the price tag. It's easy to clean, and if you are licking the salt block and miss, you aren't going to get a strong metallic taste from this holder like you might from other similar products. If you are licking for a salty flavor, who would want to taste anything metallic???
