A FANTASTIC PRODUCT!! May 06, 2007

I needed to get something to keep my chihuahua away from my three cats while he was healing. He had major surgery on his leg because it was fractured in several places. This Pet Pen is not only stylish, but also quite practical. It has a nice sized door to let your pet come out, or, you can open up the top of the pen to take out your pet - or to take stuff in and out of it (e.g. food and water) without letting your pet out. The pen has worked out so great that we decided to continue to keep our dog in it during the day when we aren't home so he can't get into any trouble. The size is also perfect for him. On one side is his wee wee pad and the other is his bed and food/water. Everything fits so perfectly. I highly recommend this product. It is nice looking, durable, and practical.

"Angel Pom"
The pet pen was a welcome surprise prior to Christmas because I was expecting it after Christmas. I use it for my Pom who has only three paws and had to have a pin put in her left knee area. With the removable top, made picking her up and attending to her very easy.
My Pom thoroughly loves her new home and so does her toy Pom sister. I am also thoroughly satisfied with the Ricell Pet Pen.
I would recommend the Richell Pet Pen to anyone.

This is a very great looking and rather easy to assemble and take down crate. My problem was that Sophie, my little 13lb. Havanese worked on the bars until she was able to bend them out of the bottom holes and squeeze out! We had to use black zip ties along the bottom to anchor the bars in. We even watched her by remote video we sat up when we went out one night. She was so funny and diligent in her task of escaping from her crate. Now that we have solved the problem with the zip ties she seems to have given up and settles down after we leave. This is a great item unless you have a strong dog who wants to escape and doesn't give up easily!

I found this after buying and returning a crate by Mr. Herzher's, which was a disappointment. In contrast, this crate is incredibly easy to put together, light weight, and it looks great. My only word of caution is that it's not necessarily a crate designed for early crate training or for a dog who's resistant to being crated. I can see how an unhappily crated dog could free itself from here -- probably why it's marketed as a "pen." But if your dog has been successfully trained to take to his or her crate, I would definitely recommend it. Excellent product!

This is a great crate. I have had it for 3 years now and love it. The open top is a great feature for cleaning and removing items from inside.
What is also nice, is now that my dog is older and does not need it everyday it comes apart and stores nicely.
