Pro Balance® Betta Vacation Feeding Blocks help you enjoy your vacation while ensuring your precious Betta are well fed. This package include 6 fish-shaped feeders that can each feed 1-3 fish for up to 7 days. Each 7-Day Betta Block releases a nutritious blend of freeze-dried foods and essential vitamins while also helping to neutralize your aquarium water pH levels. Simply place one block in your aquarium and the block will slowly dissolve releasing the nutritious freeze-dried foods. To get the best results and most efficient release of particles from Betta Blocks, keep a minimum temperature of 72° F and a starting pH level of 6.6 to 7.0. Each feeder uses a time release formula to feed your 10-15 gallon tank for up to seven days. Blocks are loaded with fish favorites like tubifex & bloodworm along with added essential vitamins, minerals & more. Each block can last up to 7 days depending on the pH level & temperature in your aquarium. Before I bought these feeders I noticed the reviews were all over the place. Some people loved them while others came home to find their fish had died. So I bought them and decided to try one out before I left for vacation. I'm very glad I did because nothing happened. While it seemed to be dissolving I couldn't see any type of food being distributed. My Beta did not have a clue as to how to eat from it because he normally chases food from the top. He doesn't forage on the bottom of the tank. After 3 days I decided to take it out of the tank and use a mechanical feeder. I think if I had just dropped it in the tank and gone on vacation I too may have come home to a dead fish. They seem worthless to me.

These are perfect for people who have more than one betta fish scattered around the house. Between us, my family has six bettas in six different locations, and these are what we use whenever we're going to be away for more than a few days. No problems ever, and the fish always seem well fed when we come home!

I used these feeders for my Bettas when I spent a few days out of town. They worked really well, and my Bettas were happy and well-fed when I came back. These were also great because they last a really long time, depending on water temperature. Buy them!

Works well, fish love it, they eat for a week while we are away. For such a small price, this is worth every penny and then some.

THe fish shaped pellet was consumed buy our Betta During our vacation. One thing though we put him in a bigger bowl and the water was a little cloudy
