Fair price, great quality, immediate shipping, Mar 05, 2008

"variable potpourri"
I put off making this sort of purchase for many years, instead opting to trash several pairs of Converse high-tops and varying rubber garden shoes.
When I finally relocated to a landscape that demanded better protection (snakes, rocks, mysterious sharp objects) I knew it was time to invest...and I'd say this purchase will pay for itself in the first day.
The boot is indeed unisex, but 40/41 is a good fit for a women's U.S. 9m...wiggle room for the toe without feeling like clown shoes.
The only minor issues would be that the width is greater (will employ thick socks) to accommodate a man's foot and the calf adjustment is not quite tight enough for my bird legs...however, over jeans or sweats -- should be perfect.
If the reader is a true women's 8.5 or shy of 9, do consider going down to the next whole size offered.
The feel is comfortable, with support, durable build and a sturdy weight - I don't feel like I got less of a boot because I pair less of a price.
I am pleased and suggest this as an option for muddy adventures.

"Gaston"
So, i totally wasn't paying attention when i bought these and thought that they were actual wellingtons. When i got them in the mail, i was at first disappointed. But as soon as i put them on i was most surprised. they are a great product. true to size. great quality. solid bottom. really comfortable. i would definitely recommend them and purchase again.

(Not a KID's review, but my first entry went POOF and I'm not allowed another go) VERY PLEASED - STURDY, AFFORDABLE INVESTMENT! Apr 06, 2008
In South Florida, I had put off the expense of mud boots for several years, foolishly opting to trash several pairs of high-tops instead.
Finally, when moving to Northern Alabama (a much more rugged and certainly MUDDY terrain) I decided it was time to get real and purchase some effective gardening accessories. I scoffed at the price of Wellies and the like...although they will certainly last to pay the expense back, when budgeting a new landscape it does fluster the wallet.
I came to Amazon and searched, was please to find this reasonable alternative to the pricier models. Simple style, simple color. The unisex fit is a bit generous - I am a true womens US 9m and find there is ample room, but not so much that I am bothered by it. Not clownish, just roomy.
I would recommend an 8.5m to order down one size.
I have only owned the boots for a month and have already made much use of them, for general mud slushing, moving heavy objects during a rainstorm (GREAT TRACTION UPHILL) and one last snowfall.
Overall, very happy with the product and the speedy, efficient service provided by Town and County, Co.

LOVE THESE BOOTS Apr 06, 2010
By Jackie I have searched many different styles & brands for a sturdy, durable pair of rubber boots to wear in the cold mucky rain season. These Town & Country Premium Wellington Boots were EXACTLY what I was looking for!
I normally wear a women's US size 10-1/2, I ordered the EU M 43/9F(M)UK size, which gives me room to wear the matching boot socks (I ordered the Large size socks...should have gone down a size in them, to the mediums) But it does give me plenty of room to wear an extra pair of big warm socks for those very cold days & room to tuck my jeans in!
I am tall, so I have no issue with the 17" height...they are an excellent fit! I was a bit worried about the shade of green shown on the pictures, but they are a perfect color of hunter green.
These boots are very comfortable with great support; they are good construction...very high quality and they are a sturdy weight without being too clunky.
I am looking forward to owning these boots for the next several years, as I am sure they'll last a long time. I am definitely very happy & proud to be an owner of these boots...no regrets here!!!!!!

I love these boots Jan 20, 2008
By E. Farley I was nervous buying these boots because I'd seen others also called Wellingtons for more money, but I love these boots. I can't imagine anything that would make them better. I'm a satisfied customer.
