5If at first you don't succeed...try cat attract  May 09, 2008
By Alicia Maloney
We have a cat that is 17 years old
We started to have litter box issues
Sometimes she'd use it, sometimes not

Our cat is an extremely stubborn old cat
we were at the end of our rope my hubby and I
Being our cat is geriatric, we were thinking some type of kidney function problem
BUT after a clean bill of health from the vet
(Turns out she was having marking problems due to other
feral (outdoor) cats that would sometimes get into our yard)
And as cat owners know, once a cat "pees" in a "chosen" spot they
Then think it's okay to continue it there

Our vet told us of the cat attract litter
and that the compounds in the litter actually
make the cat want to use the box and reduce stresses
for the urge of a cat to mark and such.(And even though we still get other feline visitors, outdoors)
It has been six months now and her outside the litter box accidents are a thing of the past.

It has been a life saver for us and our carpet.
If all else fails and you check your cat for possible medical conditions first
Try this litter it may help your situation too
Thanks!

5Saved our cat's life  Nov 26, 2010
By Raven Queen
Our cat was diabetic (it has since remitted) and had been urinating *everywhere* but in the litter box. We tried everything and nothing worked until we gave "Cat Attract" a try. We weren't expecting anything, but we were getting to the point that the cat was ruining the house (hardwood floors, walls, woodwork, wall-to-wall carpeting) and euthanasia was on the table.

From the first use of this litter, we have had 100% litter box use. This is the obvious benefit. The attraction is so strong that as soon as I top up the boxes, the cat runs in to use the fresh litter.

Along those lines, you also must be careful where you store the bag. If our cat can get to the bag, she will urinate on/in it!

The drawbacks are the price and the weight. It's not cheap litter--but it is better than the alternative for us. Also, this is the densest litter I've ever wrangled. The 40 lb. bag is not easy to handle.

It clumps well and neutralizes odors fine--like any litter, if you scoop it every day (or up to three/four in a pinch) it controls the odor well. After that, all bets are off.

It does track a bit, but it's not the worst I've used.

Overall, I am completely happy with this product and very happy with the fact that it allowed us time to control the diabetes and focus on that issue instead of ripping out carpeting and throwing away rugs!

5Amazing!  Apr 03, 2008
By Sheik
My 15 year old cat decided that he would no longer use the litter box. I tried everything possible to get him to start using the box again but nothing was working. It got to the point where I was cleaning up urine every day. I'm disabled and I couldn't keep cleaning up after him. I was afraid I was going to have to get rid of him. I started using Cat Attract over six months ago and it solved the problem, he hasn't peed on the floor since! I'm impressed!

5Cat Attract  Sep 07, 2008
By Anne Sanders
Have used for years and it is a life (no cat) saver. Kitty had stopped using her box and this brought her back.

Only problem was that I ordered two 20 lb. bags and Amazon sent one 40 lb. bag which was a major problem to handle.

5Cat Attract really works!  Oct 25, 2010
By Michele H.
Our cat was not using her litter box because she was upset. We tried everything the vets recommended, to "relearn" her into using the litter box. Changing boxes, moving boxes, changing litter, varying the height of the litter, and pheromone scented plug-ins did not work. This is the only thing that brought her back to the box! The vet recommended it because the natural-earthy smell attracts them. I highly recommend this product if your cat has taken to the carpet instead of the box!
