Pondmaster 2400 gallons per hour (gph) magnet drive pump with 19 feet maximum lift (head). Uses 240 watts of electricity. The inlet is 1" female national pipe thread (FNPT) and the outlet is 1" male national pipe thread (MNPT). The outlet also accepts 1-1/4" ID flexible tubing. Includes non-clogging pre-filter as shown to protect the pump from debris. Equipped with 18ft power cord for use in ponds. Energy efficient - low electrical consumption for the high volume of water being circulated. Fish safe epoxy encapsulated motor - no oil to leak out. Only one moving part - no motor seals to wear out. Three year limited warranty.

these are simpy the best for fountains and waterfalls. make sure you get an extra impeller as it is the only thing that wears out (mine went after 12 years in brackish water) and is easy to replace. Make sure you plumb the pipe/fittings to be able to remove the side cover to replace the impeller.

Nice and Powerful pump. I changed the Prefilter that came with it to a square sponge prefilter to prevent the goldfish from being sucked to the inlet. Works like a charm. I made a homemade filter with a 5 gallon bucket and a lid. I drilled holes in the lid with a doorknob drill bit and made a hole big enough for the outlet tube to go in.(hose should be long enough to go to the bottom of the bucket) I stuffed the bucket with fiberfill pillow stuffing from walmart and used plastic window screen under the lid to keep the fiberfill in. You can put whatever you want inside,lava rock etc. Fast Economic filter that keeps the water crystal clear. I occasionally spray the screen if any algae starts to plug the openings with a hard stream of water and that keeps the openings clear without having to shut off the filter. The bucket can be placed at the waterfall feature. Very easy to make and very economical! Love the Pump!

I brought Mag-Drive 9.5 from BigAlsonline.com as return pump for my 100 gallons mix reef about 6 months ago. One day i found the pump stop working and I took it apart realized the Ceramic shaft was broken.

Then I go to their website([...])To filled out warranty request. Waited for a week and don't hear anything from them. And I continue email for next six times and they just ignore you and never responded....

If you decide to buy one of those Mag-Drive pump and I wish you luck.... Their customer service are non exist and their warranty don't worth a dam.

Oh..The product manual state the propeller warranty is a year and the pump body are three years warranty! It's a JOKE!!
