The latches on this litter box are very weak and don't stay closed. It is impossible to lift the cat box by the handle on the top when it is full of cat litter. The top just separates from the lower part of the unit. It is a roomy cat box, big enough for my Maine Coon to comfortably negotiate. The filter seems to work beautifully. I don't have a problem with cat box odors at all anymore. It is nice to have the high back on the bottom unit and the lid to keep the cat litter from scattering all over the place. I like everything but the latches. It is a fine cat box if you have larger cats and you don't intend to move it around.

This kitty box is big. I never thought my large cat would fit in it by the looks of the picture. I was wrong. He could sleep in it if he wanted. I would have givin this kitty box 5 stars but it showed up dirty and scratched.
P.S. I love that it came with a poop scoop and liners. A+

Nearly five years ago, we purchased one of these litter pans for our adopted "backyard" cat when we brought him indoors. I couldn't be more pleased with its functionality and durability. As indicated in the description, ours came "komplete" with eight liners, zeolite filter, and scooper - all self-contained under the top "flap." Its larger size has worked out particularly well for our 12 pound ginger cat, allowing him plenty of room to move around inside and minimizing accidental sprays which might have gotten outside the box if we had bought a different (smaller) unit. As mentioned by another reviewer, the latches do pop open occasionally - particularly when moving the box - but this is just a minor annoyance. All in all, we look forward to many more years of use from this product. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

One of my cats is super-sized. This litter box allows her to get in and out of it comfortably. I am very pleased w/the product.
