I Just bought this for my small dog ( A mini doxie) and he loves it...it seems so comfy and he loved it right away. He is always cold and i'm always hot so i keep the house cool. This was the perfect solution. And as always amazon has the Best price around, petco had this for 50 on sale and originaly 70, so i will be buying a second one here. I Wouldn't recomend this for for a dog who really would chew or rip up their bedding alot, it does not seem constructed to withstand that sort of use to me. There was also some wood chips inside of it? I'm not sure if this is supposed to be something dogs like or something?? In any case He loves it and that is enough to sell me!

I thought this heated bed was for outdoor and indoor use. When I got it the directtions said strickly for indoor use only. So it was not what I wanted. My dog is 8 1/2 pounds and the bed is just right for him. He seem to really like it. The pad does get really hot for a dog bed. I worry about fire danger from it it.

This is great for the outdoor pets. I have an area set up for my critters that go in and out and just want that little extra warmth. I also have one set up for a stray that lives on my porch, not so much work as a heating pad and safer.......

Arrived very quickly after ordering. The actual heating pad is much smaller than the pillow bed and fits only on one side of the bed -- thus it is a bed that is heated only on one side. Regardless, my dog loves it and has to fight my cat for the small heated area. Think the description of the item should tell the consumer about the actual size of the heating pad insert in comparison with the size of the pillow bed.

This looked like a great indoor product for our dog who loves heated/warm beds for her old, sore joints. The actual heating element is only 1/3 to 1/2 the size of the bed. That is not described. So the other 2/3s of the bed are cold. We are returning it. Sneaky trick!
