so I ordered this just to control the amount of air being pumped into my fishbowl (if the pump was going full plast the poor little guy would be sent whriling around the bowl). It works pretty well. The knob sometimes slipps off if you turn it too far and there isnt' anything to anchor the tube to anything outside the bowl. There are several control valves and an equal number of splitters to divide the airflow to extra bowls.I'd reccomend this only if you have two fish bowls or just want to regulate the air flow to one bowl.
