I needed a way for my cat to access her litter box in a closet under the stairs and this cat flap was the cheapest option. It serves its intended purpose and my cat learned to use it quickly. As many other reviews have stated, the lock is garbage (it broke in half within 1 minute of me opening the box), but I don't anticipate ever wanting the ability to lock the door in its current location.

This little cat door is perfect for an interior door between rooms. It was easy to install, but the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the instructions were really, well-- dumb. Thank goodness my husband is used to doing some similar projects so he could figure out the idiot sheet!! If it had been up to me, the cat door would still be in the box.
My kitten figured out the door right away, and he uses it -- keeping the odor from his cat box contained in the mud room and not in the house. Yesterday we had to keep him inside and we used the lock successfully. It works. It was not expensive, and I am happy.

We were very pleased with this cat door. The price is excellent and the quality great. My only concern is that my cat got his paw jammed once. Hopefully he learned his lesson. I highly recommend this item.

This little door is great,
You have to have the proper tools to make an easy set up. After only a day the cats were using it with no problems. Make a hole on your door doesn't sound that good, however after you set up the flap the door looks pretty good.
The size is perfect, the dog stick the head once in a while but he can't go any further than that.

Hay que tener las herramientas apropiadas para instalarla fácilmente. Después de solo un día los gatos la estaban usando sin problema. La idea de hacer un hueco en la puerta no suena muy bien, pero después de instalarla la puerta luce bastante bien.
El tamaño es perfecto, el perro mete la cabeza de vez en cuando pero no puede entrar.

I bought this with an idea for using it that wasn't listed. I replaced a pane of glass in my window with plexiglass, cut an opening for the door to fit in, secured the door to the pg using just the front part of the door, and it works great. I had to used duct tape to secure it because the screws weren't meant to go into the plexiglass, but it works great, at least for the summer!
