Dead Battery May 12, 2008
By John Shepard One of two batteries in the pack was dead out of the package. The company will not accept returns after the package is opened

Policy prevents justice from being served May 28, 2010

These batteries arrived to me dead. Neither from the pack work. I see that several people have had the same problem. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! Amazon's policy of no returns on batteries means you are out of luck! Total waste of my money! I even paid for rush shipping, so I am out even more. Lowes and Home Depot carry these batteries. The ones I bought from Lowes worked perfectly.

Wrong Battery showing Jan 21, 2010
By Nancy E. Vogee
"Nancy's Dog Stewart"
Amazon shows the wrong battery for the Bark collar we ordered and now we are stuck with the wrong Battery due to their mistake. I am one unhappy customer who has been ordering from Amazon for years and use their Credit card all the time. Now that will end and so will my feelings for Amazon as the women who handled my call were rude and did not seem to care. Amazon fix your discription for the Innotek Bark Collar as the 3 pack you show is the wrong
battery. It takes a 6Volt but in a Alkalinenot a Lithium 6volt.
Signed a very upset old Amazon customer

petsafe batteries Feb 22, 2009
By Michael R. Watts My wife, myself, and our dog MOSES trust these batteries to keep him safe. They are overly expensive and that does not make sense with the low price of other batteries and that is why only 4 stars. We conserve by removing the batteries when we take off his collar at night and he is inside. When the batteries are in, the unit is in the ON mode and the they are constantly draining power just like a cell phone charger regardless of whether or not there is a shock, so we just remove them when not in use and they last much longer. Of course if he sees a rabbit then he goes brain numb and no battery will stop him.

Needlessly expensive design Sep 27, 2009
By Bob Armstrong Amazon had the best prices I found , particularly with free shipping when buying enough to get over the $25 threshold . Don't know how they made money because each package of 2 batteries was shipped separately .
But Petsafe seems to believe in milking the customers for unnecessarily expensive proprietary modules embedding the batteries in the waterproof cap and O ring .
I understand newer models from competitors are now available with rechargeable batteries and in fact greater range . I'd shop for them before getting collared ;) by the Petsafe system again .
