They show a golden retriever on the packaging enjoying this product. Our golden retriever had the rope out in about 20 minutes (which wasn't a big deal, knew it would happen anyways) and within the next hour, we started finding blue plastic pieces all over the house. Durable, but not for the toughest chewers like the package says, and for ten bucks I should have bought 10 one dollar ropes from the dollar aisle for him. At least that would last for at least 10 days.

BULLDOG LOVED TOY FOR ONLY ABOUT TWO HOURS WHEN IT WAS COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY DESTROYED. HE MADE QUICK WORK GETTING ALL THE ROPES OUT AND THEN PIECE OF BLUE PLASTIC MATERIAL WENT FLYING IN THE AIR.

We had a similar experience to most other reviewers: I noted that my Boxer puppy pulled out the fabric ties within about 30 minutes. Soon thereafter I began finding blue bits all over. I immediately threw it away because I was worried she might choke on them. Definitely not durable enough for power chewers (as advertised on packaging). I wish I had first checked these reviews and not wasted my money. I continue on my quest to find something to keep my puppy occupied for more than 30 minutes....

My pit bull destroyed this toy within a few minutes. It was smaller than I expected so perhaps if there is a larger one it may have held up better. I would instead recommend the ORKA ball which our pit bull has had for at least 3 months and it is still in one piece.

We bought the ORKA Stick for our Yorkie and he loved it. Eventually the ropes came out. We kept it because he still loved to play with it, but then we found a great use for the tube. We put his "Bully Sticks" in one end and it makes a great "Bully Stick" holder, and we don't have to worry about him swallowing the end of the Bully when it has gotten short.
