My dog loved it! Mar 23, 2010
By D. Wortham My dog absolutely loved this toy! He carried it around everywhere he went and loved playing with it alone or with me chunking it for him. The ball is very durable and apparently a lot of fun to gnaw on :)
We finally lost track of it when he'd worn the rope out. The ball still looked new and you can replace or retie the rope as often as you like.
It is fairly small, say a bit larger than a golf ball but smaller than a hardball (baseball), so good only for the small to small/medium sized mouths. If you have a chewer I recommend it for both of you.

My dog's favorite toy! Aug 24, 2009
By josephine I have a 10 pound chi mix and some ball toys we have gotten for him were too large. He also has bones and silicone stick toys to bite on. Of all of these, he loves this one the most. It has a rope that he loves to chew as well as the ball that bounces. He loves chasing it as well as chewing it. Even with all that chewing, it is standing up pretty well. We do occassionally knot the rope again if it becomes loose. Perfect for a smaller dog.

Puppy not interested in short rope Sep 24, 2010
By Woody1 Our puppy loves to play tug with a rope and a ball, but this one is short and uninteresting for the puppy. An older dog wouldn't even have given this a second look and walked past. Picture makes it look bigger than it is.

orka ball with rope Feb 23, 2010

"calimero"
i like it.... ok my dog likes it! i guess i was expecting it to REALLY do rebounds.... so i'm kind of disapointed BUT the rope is nice to chew on and the ball compare to a regular ball rebounds a little bit. i was scared the rope would prevent the ball from going far but i was wrong. now indestructible.... i don't know yet...but i am looking forward to figure it out! cause my little pomeranian doesn't have teeth he has NEEDLES!!!!!!!!! and that's basically the only part of his body he knows how to use ..ouchhh... i'll keep you posted on the undestructible part.
great toy Mar 06, 2012
By Dan One of my dogs is on her 2nd mini orka ball with rope. But she didn't like the rope much so we cut the rope off and this dog spends hours just chewing and throwing it around the house by herself. If it goes missing she cries until we look under every piece of furniture and hunt it down (about 6x a day) Highly recommend for small breeds.
