the ball is great; the rope is trash Oct 25, 2007
By Jacobson ball is pretty durable rubber that has stood up to our aggressive chewer. the rope, however, barely lasted an hour before i had to pick up the shreds. she is a rambunctious puppy, but when we stuff this ball with a milkbone, she grabs it, hides under the coffee table, and focuses on getting the prize out for the next hour. plus, it's fun to play indoor fetch with it, since it bounces in crazy directions on the floor.
****update**** I lost the first ball, so I decided to buy another one. Our dog obviously missed the first one, since she went crazy when she saw the new one and has been playing happily ever since. the rope is still attached and in good shape! perhaps she's matured a little or maybe the last rope tasted good, but she's left this rope alone, which makes the toy great for tug of war and keeps it from rolling too far underneath furniture. if i could bump the review to five stars, i would!

great dog toy Sep 17, 2011
By Donna Colbert I have a little dog who loves this treat ball. We bought one in the store and she used it until it was completely worn out I was so pleased to be able to find a replacement on Amazon that I bought two. Our dog loves this treat ball. But our little Havanese has a pointed nose. Our daughter has a shitsu who doesn't care for these little treat balls. This is probably because the Shiatsu has no nose to reach the treat inside. This is our dogs favorite treat ball.
Our Dogs Fav Treat Ball Mar 04, 2012
By Amber Both of our Pomeranian's love these treat balls! We put large treats in the center and soft, flexible treats in the smaller holes. The rope tends to wear out after a few years but that's to be expected after so many hours of chewing and play. This will be our third puchase of the toys and would recommend them for any smaller pet.

The item was too big for my dog, the ad did not give dimensions, if it had I would not have wasted time and effort to purchase. It was immediately returned because of it's size. It would have been great for a bigger dog, my dog is under 10#s. We liked the Pet Stages MINI Treat Toy #7, but they discontinued it.Pet Stages Focus Ball
