Teething dog toy Sep 06, 2010 I had great hopes that this would soothe and ease my dog's mouth while he is teething. I have been disappointed, for it wasn't sturdy enough for him. I think for a very small dog, it would work. My dog tore it up right away!
Small and not durable, ribbons will break off/get swallowed Jun 12, 2010 This toy was a lot smaller than I anticipated especially with its high price. In its 4th day of use, my puppy tore off one of the dangling ribbons and started chewing on it. Luckily I was there to intercept it. Do yourself a favor and just get kong toys... they dont break.
chewing Apr 15, 2010 My puppy is teething (just like a child) and this works great! Wet it and put in freezer and then let them chew, the frozen item feels good on their gums. Works perfect!!!
Crinkly noises and long lasting Nov 20, 2009 My dog loved this toy. And doh!, I didn't even realize it was meant to be frozen. I bought it because the triangle "fins" make a crinkly noise my dog loves. We've played tug with the knotted string part and he's chewed whole thing and it has held up. This toy had a long "shelf life" both in holding interest and in the materials holding up.

My Dog is in Love Nov 20, 2009 We recently got a Cavalier King Charles and noticed that since she started teething she liked ice cubes. Someone told me ice cubes aren't very good for their teeth so when I saw this I thought it would be the perfect compromise. I agree with other reviewers it doesn't stay cold very long. It actually will stay colder longer if you wet it first then freeze it. My dog doesn't seem to care though - she loves this toy. It quickly became her go to toy. She really likes the knotted streamers off the top and is working hard on taking out the knots. This toy is pretty small and thin - probably more for puppies or small dogs.
