I don't know if this is the intent of the toy, but we put in treats that are to big to fall out of the holes and then our dog works to unscrew the pill to get the treat out. It takes her a couple of minutes to do so we use it as a distraction when we leave the house. Works great and sticky has not been a problem for us.

This is great. Keeps my puppy busy far longer than a stuffed kong. The holes are a little bit small, so about 1/4 of the kibbles never even come out. And that's after I tried to shake/roll them out. It rolled under the couch a couple times and came back with all the dust stuck on it. Even without rolling under the couch, it picks up a fair bit of random stuff. I am ok with it since I don't see my puppy chewing on it.

I purchased this for my Yorkie, who is about 1 yr old (4 lbs). This is a really cute idea, but way too big for my dog. (I gave it to a friend who has a bigger dog...)

My pug/rat terrier loves this. It's nice because he really has to work to get it open, but there's nothing on it that can hurt him.
It is a lot smaller than the description - I think it says it's 8x2 inches - it's more like 4x2.

I have 2 puppies and wanted to get them something that would keep them occupied and have other added benefits. This toy seemed to fit the bill. The only complaint I have about the item is that the holes in it are not big enough for much of anything to fit through. I did find that the buddy berries will fit through the holes, but even their puppy food is too big! I haven't seen them use the toy for teething, but they will carry it around with them.
