2Double Diner Raised Feeding Station with 3 Quart Bowls  Aug 22, 2010
By R. Macgregor "Road Runner"
Had this for over 2 years. Boy, did the bloom faded off this rose quickly!

Strengths:
- Looks good when delivered. All joints well fitted, and drawer slides in/out easily.
- Lots of storage.
- Great height for large breed dogs.
Shortcomings:
- As mentioned in another review, openning the loaded drawer causes the whole thing to tip forward, splashing water into the drawer and thoroughly soaking the contents. Shouldn't use to store dry food for this reason.
- Constructed of MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard), which swells BIG TIME when exposed to water.
- Quite costly, given the quality of mat'ls used in it's construction.

I emphasize the problem with MDF because our Lab, like almost all breeds, splashes water everywhere when she drinks. In short order, that water found it's way past the feeder's paint barrior and was absorbed by the sponge-like MDF, which in turn quickly swelled. This lead to A) the drawer swelling shut tight, and B) [because the MDF swells and the paint doesn't] large pieces of dried paint flaking off and disappearing. In wasn't too long before we noticed ugly patches of exposed, stained MDF on the "table-top" and sizable areas of missing paint right next to the bowls. I don't know what kind of paint is used, but I have no doubt as to the whereabouts of the missing flakes; in our dog's belly along with her dinner. Hope it wasn't lead-based.

Too much money for something with such shortcomings. I suggest looking elsewhere for a dog feeding stand, as this Pet Goods Dynasty feeder has become a high maintanence eyesore in our kitchen.

2Dynasty Double Diner Raised Feeding Station  Mar 04, 2010
By Richard J. Bymers
The feeding station cannot be used for storage of food because when you open the drawer the whole thing falls forward spilling water all over the place including into the dog food. Would have been nice to know this before I purchased.

5LOOKS GOOD  Apr 04, 2008
By Laura "lolagranola91"
Came FULLY ASSEMBLED! Can't beat that - I put this item in my shopping cart and waited - one day I got notice that the price had dropped to $59.99 and then I purchased - it is a great buy at $59.99. Has kind of cottage style decor (my daughter asked if I got the idea to get it from my best friend who is an interior decorator) We finally got rid of the ugly doggy food bucket. As others have mentioned this is a very tall feeder - at first I was concerned that it might be a little high for our 40 lb cocker spaniel - but he seems fine - I wouldn't recommend it for any dog smaller than that.

5My dogs love it!  Nov 09, 2006
By Cathy A. VanSickle "Poodle Mom"
I couldn't find a raised feeding station that I liked the looks and design of until I saw this one. When I recently moved into a new house, I put these down for my 2 Standard Poodles. They took to their new feeders immediately. I use one bowl for their food and the other for their water, and the bowls are a nice large size. They also seemed to learn really quickly that the very roomy drawer in the bottom held their treats. The other nice thing about it is that it looks really nice in my kitchen. I would highly recommend it for large dogs.

5Nice and classy  Sep 14, 2009
By Ian Medina
This holds a large bag of dog food for storage and has large stainless steel bowls. Its not made of cheap, pressed IKEA wood either. Its got some heft to it. I've had it for 3 years and it still looks great. The height is perfect for medium to large dogs.
