This Home 'N Go soft crate by Pet Gear was designed to look great in your home and is also portable so that you can take your pet along with you anywhere you go. The frame is made of strong, durable steel and the shell is made of water resistant 600 denier nylon with three vinyl coated mesh doors for easy access and convenience. This soft crate ships folded flat, yet fully assembled, and opens easily in about 15 seconds. (NO TOOLS OR ASSEMBLY REQUIRED). 5Great for puppy or small dog  Jul 06, 2005

I bought this crate for my Shih Tzu puppy and it was the perfect purchase for her. She's in and out of it all day. Love the flexibility of the different openings - I usually use the "roof" access, and sometimes leave the end panel open so that she can come and go as she likes.

The only downside is that it doesn't have a way to hang a water bottle. My puppy likes to tip over her waterbowl so I needed a way to hang a drip bottle. I found one normally used in gerbil cages that attaches with a screw and bracket - and cut a tiny hole in the canvas to push the screw through and hang the bottle. It works great but I wish the manufacturers would change the design to include this feature.

5A "Must Have" For Your Puppy  Feb 08, 2005

This soft sided crate is perfect for a new puppy. Be sure you also buy the Cedar Pet Bedding for it that's sold separately. We began putting our Coton de Tulear puppy to bed in it the first night she arrived, and she still loves to be zipped into it until morning. It's so much nicer to have her sleep against a soft mesh side rather than the usual hard metal. Ditto for car travel. We have rigged up straps that attach it in the back of our SUV.(It would have been nice if it had come with them.)

WE LOVE THIS CRATE FOR OUR PUG, BUT SHE IS A SMART LITTLE DOG. SHE HAS LEARNED HOW TO GET THE ZIPPER ON THE END UNDONE AND ESCAPE. OF COURSE, WHEN SHE DOES THIS NO ONE IS HOME AND WE FIND SMALL GIFTS LEFT BEHIND.

but I find this thing hard to set up. The things that snap in place take me forever but it may because i have small arms :( I do love this item though it is so cute and perfect for travel!
