4works great!  Jun 12, 2007
By Tina
I bought one for myself and my aunt... they work wonderfully. The ramp is collapsible, lightweight (though it easily accomodates large breed dogs), and much better for the hips of aging pets than stairs are. I use this as a ramp to my bed, but it's made for cars.

1DOESN'T WORK WITH REGULAR CAR DOORS  Dec 03, 2010
By Katie
This ramp does not work with regular car doors - car doors don't open 90 degrees, which they would need to do to accommodate this ramp.

The ramp is useless unless you use it to load a dog into a hatchback type opening at the back of the vehicle. And that's assuming you want your dog to be in the cargo area, since if the dog can't get in the car by itself it can't climb over the backseat, either.

4Pet ramp  Apr 11, 2010
By Jean B. Seegmiller "Texas ex"
The pet ramp is a good size and easy to handle, however it is too slippery for our dog's comfort. After putting a rug securely on it, she is comfortable. She is a 62 lb bulldog, and just didn't feel secure on it as it came. Ever try to catch a scrambling big bulldog trying to go the opposite direction than you wanted it too ? Not good.

4Nice and sturdy, just wish it was a little longer  Nov 05, 2010
By CrystalVW
I bought this pet ramp for my 9 year old lab/golden mix who has been having trouble getting in and out of the car lately. I also bought it for my Newfoundland puppy knowing that when he is full grown, at 130+ lbs, I might not be able to lift him. The lab mix accepted the ramp right away and has no trouble getting in or out of the car now. It took a little coaxing for the Newfoundland, but I hope over time he will learn to accept it as well. The ramp is sturdy and it looks like it will be able to hold up to the Newfoundland when he is full grown, but only time will tell. It folds down nicely to fit into the back of my car. The only negative about this ramp is it is a little shorter than I would like it to be. I have a Volvo wagon, which is not very high off the ground, and it is a pretty steep incline (one of the reason I think the Newfoundland puppy is hesitant). Overall I think this is a great product, I am very happy that I bought it, and I hope your pets will love it too!!

3Like it but, Just one caution  Jul 25, 2010
By Valerie M. Gordon
I'm going to have to put carpet over the blue section. It has absolutly NO TRACTION! We have an older dog who can't get her hind-end up into the van any more. I bought the ramp to save our backs from picking her up. It worked for the most part, except for the traction problem.
