Chalet bird feeder Apr 26, 2009

Perky Pet 50144 Deluxe Chalet Cedar Feeder, 5 lb capacity
This is an OK bird feeder, but the squirrels have easy access to it, nothing prevents them from jumping on the ledge and gobbling up all the seed before the birds can get it. The suet feeders at the side went quickly, and I don't fill them anymore. The top slides off to the side sometimes, as it is not anchored. The rope to hang the feeder isn't real handy either. It's not my favorite design, but it works OK.

Great bird feeder Mar 22, 2010
By H. Lane This is the best feeder that I've found. I can see if it needs filled from my kitchen window, 50 feet away. It is easy to fill, holds a lot of seed and birds can eat from all sides at once.

Very sturdy Oct 12, 2010
By Go Penguins I think it looks better in person, than in the picture. Very sturdy and the cedar is a nice thickness. Not cheaply made by any means. Should last a long time. The sides to hold the suet are not flimsy, but solid. It's not small, so I think it will hold up nicely in the winter. Great quality and worth it for the price.

Basic inexpensive feeder Jan 10, 2012
By Sue J The feeder was poorly packaged for shipping and came broken - when I went to return and reorder, it was out of stock so we nailed the piece back on. After a squirrel jumped in it, the feeder rope gave way from where it was attached at the bottom, so we had to fix that as well.
