I have a cat that has an intense fondness for flipping over her water dish. In fact, she is indiscriminate and will quickly make sure our other cat also has no drinking water. We switched to heavy ceramic bowls she couldn't flip and she switching to pushing them around the house until the water completely sloshed out. We tried mats and towels for friction and clean-up and before long, we were using up a lot of extra space and effort in our kitchen to create some sort of unattractive contraption just to keep the floor dry and our pets hydrated.
It was time for a food stand.
I bought this one pretty indifferently (criteria: it wasn't hideous and it wasn't expensive), but now I've grown to love it. In fact, I'm going to get a second for my other cat.
First off, it's just the right size for both me and my cats. The stand itself isn't tiny (it's not huge either), but the bowls are small (one pint). Standing at 4" off the ground, it's not too high for cats to easily feed out of. I can bring the bowls to the counter to fill with food and water, or simply lift up the whole stand. Either way works fine. It's small and pretty light-weight.
It isn't ugly looking, nor is it fancy enough to attract attention. The black and silver fits nicely with home decor in a simple, subtle way. I can leave this in my kitchen when company is over without feeling like a barbarian (the way I did before with bowls+towels+weights+water-repellent-mat+angry cat), but it's also safe enough to set over carpet if I wanted to.
The stand itself is plastic with little feets for better grip. The bowls are stainless steel, can easily be removed from the stand and are simple to wash. The top of the stand has a lip around it so if your cat manages to shove the entire stand hard enough (as some do), the water will slosh out onto the table and NOT your flooring. Even better, the lip of each bowl is slightly ramped so that any liquids knocked onto the top will stay there and not drip into the neighbouring bowl to create soggy food.
In short, I no longer have to worry about slipping in a pool of water and breaking my neck in my kitchen, my aquaphobic feline now has a how-do-I-beat-this-food-stand project to keep her occupied, and both of them now have drinking water, even if I've neglected to supervise their feeding area upon water refill.

This sure is a great little feeder!
The bowls are stainless steel and each hold One Pint. Stamped as one pint on the bottom of each bowl.
The bowls fit nicely into the molded black frame and are easily removable.
It is very easy to keep clean and easy to take the bowls out for cleaning or adding pet food or to freshen water.
It is has rubber type caps that fit over the legs so it will stay put on our tile type flooring. Works great!
I measured it at 13" wide, about 8" deep and 4" high.
My pup is 6 months old and is short legged and this fits him just perfect. He use to have to stretch his neck way down to the floor to get to the bottom of the old bowl. He also use to take some of his dry kibble out of the old bowl and eat it off the floor. Not any more!!! He just stands there and gobbles his food down from this elevated feeder.
Very Happy with this set! It should last for my little dog since he is just about as big as he will get now.
It really is stylish too. Fits nicely into the kitchen decor in the black color and has the Reversible "Side" Panel inserts, that have the Stainless Look(kind of gray color on one side or the opposite side is beige color if you prefer. We like the black with the stainless look for the sides.
It really is a nice product and Made in the USA!!!! Comes very nicely Packaged from the manufacturer too!
I originally thought I wanted a nice Wood dog feeder, but I really am sold on this feeder! I really think it is oh so easy to keep clean and it always looks so clean! When I fill the bowls I lift the tray to the counter and it is so easy to use.
Highly recommend!

I owned an Our Pets feeder for 10 years, very sturdy and durable. The dishes sat in the station and it got nasty in there. This new Signature series makes more sense and is attractive as well. Easy to assemble and clean and looks nice. I have two of the black ones for my two dogs. I am thrilled, and Amazon had the cheapest prices of any website I visited. Thanks so much.

My 2 cats kept spilling food all over the kitchen floor. NO MORE food clean up. ALL the food stays in the bowl or on top of the stand. Perfect for people who hate sweeping up pet food!

I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews about the bowls being on the smaller side but they are 2 quart bowls so they are fine for most dogs.
I have a chocolate lab who's a year and a half old and around 70 pounds, this elevated dish set is the perfect height! It was a piece of cake to assemble and even though my dog was unsure of them at first he loves them now. My floors love this too because he tends to be a pretty messy drinker and it happens to catch most (not all) of the water that flys out of his mouth as he drinks.
If it ever breaks I'm getting the same one as a replacement! :)
