This doggy lunchpail is extremely convenient; my mom dogsits a lot for me, so it makes it easy when I drop the dog off for a day or two. My only concern is that it doesn't appear to be airtight, and I think ants might get in it if it were used outdoors. The containers I store the pets' food in at home are airtight, just by including a foam seal around where the lid meets the container. I wish there were something like that on this. But I'm still glad I have it.

We just got back from a two week road trip with our standard poodle and this worked perfectly!! He was able to eat and drink in the car without mishap and it was so easy to tote to the hotel rooms. I agree with comments that the lid is tricky to get off with food or water but it wasn't a big issue. I got ours at Costco and only now realize there's a bigger size so I plan to get that one for our next trip. Handiest pet travel tool yet!! I think this size would work well for cats too!

This holds about 8 cups of dog food, which lasted our 2 labs about 10 days. So it was perfect for us to take when we went to visit our mom because it pretty much covered the whole trip. It is also high enough that they dont have to bend down so far to eat. The bowls themselves hold probably a half cup to a cup. I would buy again.

This product is perfect for traveling. Simple concept, but it's much easier than packing a zip lock bag with food and having to find a bowl. It's also nice for stopping to just give the dog water.

I upgraded to the mid size dog lunch box as the puppy grew. This is the perfect size now. the storage area inside is a great bonus!
