I agree with the other reviewer. I have been feeding birds for over 25 years. This is the best bird feeder! It is practically indestructable, totally squirrel/raccoon proof and holds a large quantity of seed. It is very easy to install. After 10 + years I had to replace it and couldn't find one. I was very unhappy. We bought another high quality feeder that only lasted two years. I am glad to find it again. This simply designed feeder proves that less is more!

I know the capacity is given in the product description, but I was not prepared for how big it is. It's a very good size. The feeder is made from quality materials, is easy to assemble, and is easy to fill. The finches and cardinals are just ALL over this and not a single squirrel has been able to penetrate it's defenses (they don't even try).
This would probably not work well for larger birds such as doves as the feeding mounts are too short. That's just a guess though, I haven't seen any try.
I am extremely happy with the product.

This thing is still going strong after 3 years.

This is a great bird feeder. It is well built and has a large capacity. We wanted a squirrel proof feeder, and this one definitely works. Just don't mount it under a tree, or anywhere near where a squirrel could jump on it. We have watched many squirrels try to climb up the pole with no success, but a few have jumped from a tree limb, or the railing on our porch to the top of the feeder.

This bird feeder is exactly as described. It's well built. Easy to install. And holds lots of bird seed. What it doesn't tell you is although we've had an unusual amount of wind and rain, the seed remains dry. What a fantastic bonus!
I would highly recommend this bird feeder to all the bird lovers out there!!!!
