Can't Get Enough Nov 26, 2008
By Alexandra My cat can't get enough of this food. He suffered from UTI 8 months ago and I found out that the cause of urinary track infection is dry food. After 2 visits to the emergency room its needless to say that spending more on cat food is better than spending thousands on doctor bills. This food has cranberry juice which helps prevent UTI. I read the label for my cat now, just as I do for myself.
I buy them in bulk from Amazon, or individually from PetSmart/PetCo.

Purrfect for picky eaters Mar 26, 2008

If you are looking for a cat food that is "ground" meat and is fairly moist, this is it. Mine want a ground food and this works. It is a strong smelling food. What do you expect from shrimp and tuna. lol.
A little hint for leftovers or for finiky eaters. Spoon a little onto a plate and warm it for about 9 seconds in the microwave and then stir it back into the can. It releases the smell and softens it even more.
Prices have gone up a bit since I bought it, but what hasn't. There were some cans dented and both Natural Balance and Pet Pharmacy stood behind the product and took care of things. I was very impressed.

Took a while to get them to eat it Jan 29, 2009

My 2 cats, age 14 and 15, looked at this food like, "Where's the GOOD food!". They had been eating Fancy Feast with gravy which is fine but contains corn and they throw up alot. They have been trowing up about 90% less on Natural Balance. They each put on about 1/2 to 1 pound. Their coats are glossy and I feel better knowing this food is alot healthier. At first, I bought some cheap tuna and had to mix the canned on a 1:1 ratio to get them to eat it, then 1:2, now 1:3 (1 can tuna to 3 cans Natural balance). I will soon wean then off the tuna but there was crying for a few days at first and my 15 year old flat out refused to eat for abot 4 days and lost a pound but finally started to nibble on it and now eats it well. The dry was better received but they need canned also. Worth the bother as now they cry when their dish is empty!!
