We use this as part of a preventative plan. We have 3 dogs and one cat that are all indoor/outdoor. We started using this product back in April 2011 as part of a flea prevention plan. Because 2 of our dogs are Pomeranian's and our cat is long haired sometimes I think some of the monthly treatment gets lost in their fur and they don't get the full treatment no matter how hard we try.
This powder is fine enough that we can take the dogs to the porch and sprinkle some on their backs and work it into their fur using our fingers. Our dogs actually love it! They think their getting a massage and it keeps the fleas away. Win, Win!!
There are no harmful chemicals so the dogs skin does not get irritated and we don't have to wear gloves making it easier to apply.

I prefer sprays to put on my dogs, but this powder is great to put on their beds and sheets. Also, it smells really good...like peppermint ;)
I do have to say, it's a little expensive. The container is only like half full, literally.

My aunt was having a terrible problem with fleas on her Yorkie, and then repeated tapeworm infestations from the fleas. Frontline and other remedies were not working (although they always seem to work for me). We tried this stuff, and the fleas beat it right away. Plus, nothing harmful in it. Very satisfied at her house. Now I'm buying some, because hey - never enough safe protection against nasty fleas, and UGH!! tapeworms!!.

I've used NaturVet Herbal Flea Powder for several years now and I think it's the best stuff out there. It smells wonderful and keeps the fleas from taking over.

This product smells good and it works good for flea's but I would not suggest buying it for [...] bucks. The reason I wouldn't suggest it is because there isn't that much in the container to begin with and when I got my package most of the powder was spilled all over the box. The product is good but for [...] bucks the small amount you get, and the packaging, aren't worth it.
