Of all the Multipet Talking Toys, the Koala one is hands down the best!
I dont know about you, but I don't really know what a koala sounds like... I got this one because it looked cute to me and it was on sale.
All I can say is OMG! The 'squeaker' sounds like the laughter of little kids and my dog went NUTS! She absolutely LOVES little kids!
My mom on the other hand? She thinks this toy is possessed.... ha ha ha.

My dogs seem to play with the "talking" toys longer than any others, so I ordered a couple of frogs and a sheep and the Koala bear to stock up. When I heard the Koala, it went into my office as a stress toy for a laugh on busy days. A dear friend went to the hospital this week, and well, laughter is the best medicine. It turned into a perfect get well gift. It cheered her up, and she got other friends to laugh when visiting her. If you have a sense of humor, this toy is not just for your dog. Enjoy.

This was the first toy I gave my dog 5 years ago. It has remained her favorite BY FAR through the years and we have had far too many toys to count. She always comes back to this one. I got it because there are a lot of little children in my family, but not in my house. I wanted her to get used to that sound. I love it. It makes me giggle too. Its much more fun to step on than a chew stick for sure! We go through about 3 of these a year, but we play tug of war every night. I can spin her and lift her while she is still attached. She shakes and shakes it, lies on her back and practically makes out with it. ha! She knows right where that noise box is too. She bites down right on that part over and over. It's hard to resist playing with her when she hits me in the leg with the laughter coming out of this little thing in her mouth. SOOO much better than the high pitched squeak toys or the screechers. I don't know what I would do if they ever quit selling these. By the way, she loves the kids in my extended family.

Well, since this is a relatively inexpensive toy, I bought him the koala after the talking chimp broke in two days. The koala only lasted one day. I got it last night at 5 pm, and it's 9 am and it's done talking. I knew when I bought it that it may not last long, but less than 24 hours is a little annoying. Yes, I have a big dog (boxer), so yes, he chews. But, still, one day of working is not okay. There has to be a way to make these things last longer!! My dog found an old 'my little pony' talking horse from when my kids were little and he plays with that really roughly. It talks, it's big, it hasn't broken yet, and I'm gonna stick with that. So, I'm done buying the multi-pets talking things. If they could make them more sturdy, big dogs could enjoy them for more than a day.
