Birds do love it, and so do raccoons. [But that's hardly the fault of the Morning Song people.]

But seriously, we've tried other suets and really like this variety. It appeals to birds and always seems high quality.

HOWEVER, if you really want a block of suet that the woodpeckers like, track down Morning Song's "Nutty Safari" Suet. Since that became our suet of choice, we've had Downies and Ladder backs galore. BlueBirds too. And even better, Pilated Woodpeckers! One of my favorites.

In lieu of the Nutty Safari, however, this seeded variety is good.
