Cat tree worth having Jun 26, 2008

"Siamese Cat Lover"
I have 4 Siamese cats and they love this cat tree. They took to it right away. It is sturdy and well made. There has been times when they have all been playing on it at once and it didn't budge. It withstood all the climbing and running around on it, that 4 cats can do at once, without swaying or looking like it was going to fall over. It is very well made. They play on it together and sleep on it together. It provides them a place to exercise, which indoor cats need. Watching them play on it is also very amusing I never realized I had 4 acrobats. In all they are very pleased and happy, which makes us happy. Amazon's price was reasonable, I ended up with this model because Amazon had a sale on it and I couldnt pass up the price for something this large. I am glad I didn't. I've seen this model on other websites for much more money. Box it came in was in bad shape but we looked it over before excepting delivery and it was in perfect condition. Give this one a try......you won't be sorry

PROBLEM: Too many damn cats in a small house
SOLUTIONS:
a.) Get rid of cats
b.) Get bigger house
c.) Get awesome cat furniture
I like my kitties, I cannot afford a larger house, so I went with C.
This tree is better than any of the $300 versions you see at the large chain pet stores, and costs half the price.
Shipping took a while, but who cares, you don't have to borrow a friends truck to get it home.
The "whiskers" appear to me made of the plastic string lawn-edgers use, so they are quite tough and should stand up to Mr Whisker's nom'ing on it for some time.
If you are thinking about getting some large cat furniture, just get this one while it lasts; you will not find a better deal for such a high quality cat tree.

This is the 4th cat tree in my house right now, and hands down the highest quality of all! This tree is very heavy and covered with the finest material. This one is especially nice if you have multiple cats, it is very sturdy.

We rec'd the second Molly and Friends 'Whiskers Way' Cat Tree yesterday. Amazon, in a combined effort with Home Direct, delivered this replacement for the first tree we ordered within one week. Great job guys!!! The product is very well made, but had a couple of flaws (not that the cats will mind)that, for the price, should be attended to by the manufacturer. The areas where the poles were screwed into the the beds had bare spots-in other words-the nail heads showed through the carpet. The first tree we received had a major flaw-the tall pole that held the uppermost bed was listing to the right so much that we returned the product. This replacement was straight and well made, but we feel that better care should have been made to cover the nail/screw heads with carpet rather than leaving them exposed. There are some areas around the opening in the large cat face that are not completely glued down, leaving small warps around the edge. All in all, it is a great product-I don't think we will ever need to replace it-but they need to take better care in covering the unit with carpet. The carpet on the second tree was not as high quality as the first, leaving us to believe that not every Molly and Friends Cat Tree product is created equally...There were also small defects in the carpet in other areas-a couple of frayed areas in the beds that were just bad enough to strip it of the fifth star, but not bad enough to keep it from the cats any longer!!! It has very large beds on the top and bottom, and a half-moon bed in the middle that are adequate for even the largest kitty cats. The big face has a large opening in the front with a built-in escape route in the top which, if you know cats, they just love!!! The unit is sturdy and very weighty-over ninety pounds-so again, it will accomodate very large cats without the slightest budge. Despite the little bugs that the manufacturer should work out, this is a great product and well worth the price. The cats absolutely love the long sisal pole in the front of the unit and started using it right away. The poles in the back are covered with carpet for those cats that prefer a softer feel...
