 "Molly & Friends" Knows What Cats Love! Oct 10, 2007

This cat tree product is well worth the money! My young kitten took to it immediately and especially loves sleeping on and surveying from the top tier! Now that another young kitten has also entered the family, it is perfect for two romping and growing sisters to enjoy it! It provides wonderful exercise for developing muscles, and lots of laughs watching kitten athletic antics and peek-a-boo play. Most especially, it can take on all the action as the kittens grow into adult cats, since it is so sturdy and well-made.
I tried another product by a different manufacturer before this one. Unlike Molly & Friends which is all assembled, I had to spend time assembling the other unit. I had to send the other product right back due to inferior quality -- loose staples, shredding carpet and oily, smelly sisal which were all unsafe for kittens as well as people!
I love that this product is USA made. Lastly, this 3-tiered unit look like furniture. I am an artist and have a small house. It is in my living room and has the look of a sculpture, which works well against the paintings and photographs on the wall! I would definitely buy Molly & Friends again, and would buy from Amazon.

I was a little worried about buying cat furniture through the mail, but a little googling, and Amazon reviews, made me feel some confidence that the product would be high quality for the cost, and it is. It's large and heavy, well constructed with wood posts, not cardboard, and high quality carpet which is well attached, with no loose staples or nails. It arrived today with no problems, and my 15 year old tortie and 2 year old mutt cat are now competing for the top perch. The 2 year old is a big feller, and pretty pushy, but there seems to be no danger of tipping. I highly recommend this cat condo, if anyone is having any doubts.
Update:
The cat tree is really holding up well, after about 4 years, I think. The cat who was 2 years old when I got it now weighs around 17 lbs., and is generally huge, and has yet to knock the tree over. Still very happy with this purchase!

Large and strong enough for my 15 pound cat to jump all over it and around inside the large tube chasing his tail. The top platform is large enough for him to sleep on comfortably. THIS is the cat furniture I should have bought for the downstairs and I may just have to order ANOTHER one soon to remedy that!

Excellent design, sturdy construction, USA made Feb 26, 2009

This well-designed furniture will fit a larger cat. The light blonde-colored carpet is well matched, clean and gently smells like new carpet. No awful glue smell or musty odor. The entire piece is heavy, very sturdy and stable. No tip over. My cat is 15 lbs. and about 32" long (part Maine Coon). She fits comfortably on all 3 levels. Supporting scratching posts accommodate a full-out body stretch or a hunker-down foot frenzy. The 3 levels are strongly attached and have good access to one another. They do not extend past the footprint. Very thoughtful design. She likes it very much and makes full use of it. She looks adorable on the perches. So amusing. A hoot. I'm delighted with her happiness.
There was a 3-6 week wait listed. I received mine in about 4 weeks. Worth the wait. It arrived safely. The packing is minimal yet serviceable. Made in USA. Excellent quality. Value for every dollar spent.
Will buy from again.

It is well constructed, very sturdy and our Abby likes it, (though she doesn't use it as much as I thought she would). The top tier was put on at a bit of an angle - it tilts to one side, (otherwise it would have received a higher rating). The color is great and there are no glue marks or carpet "spaces" between the different sections.
The box it was shipped in was pretty torn up when it arrived, but there wasn't any damage to the item. But, already being put together when delivered was a big plus.
Overall, cat condos are not the most attractive items, but this one doesn't make me gag - - just wish it didn't take up so much space (24x24 is bigger than you think!)!
