 the photo is NOTHING like what I received Mar 10, 2011

I'm extremely disappointed since what I received was DARK brown with SHAG carpeting, absolutely nothing like the light BEIGE PLUSH carpeting shown in the picture! I guess I could maybe have overlooked that aesthetic nightmare if the kittens enjoyed it anyway, but on top of the fact that it is hideous, the sisal post is very wobbly and squeaks loudly! This thing is far too huge to consider dealing with trying to send it back, so I'm stuck with it and very irritated about that

This combination cat furniture/sculpture turned out to be very well made and an excellent purchase. I like the look of it in front of the living room window in our 8th floor apartment, and the cats use it as a perch to look out and survey the world. They also like the long stretch when they use the sisal scratching post. So far neither of them use the little round compartment below. I'm not sure why. I would buy Molly and Friends products again.

OK, the verdict. I bought two Molly and Friends products from Amazon in two weeks and both are defected. The cradle condo has an uneven condo top and several sets of exposed staples, and the 2-tier cat-face cat tree has a squeaky and shaky U-shaped bed. I fixed the sharp and hard wire ends, but have no idea how to deal with the shaky bed. The sisal scratching posts also fill the room with a strong chemical smell. I've considered returning them but decided against it. They are too bulky and expensive to return.
It's a big shame that they could be defected like that. After a lengthy research, I really set my mind on Molly and Friends and planned to buy a series of cat trees with different heights and condo gyms to place in my 2-story house and basement for my active kitten. I urge Molly and Friends to do a better quality control job on their products and maintain the craftsmanship consistency. They do have a responsibility to at least deliver safe cat furniture to the thousands of cats and kittens who climb and scratch the trees every day. They owe it to their countless loyal customers who wrote high-acclaimed reviews about them and to the new customers who believed in those reviews and made purchases, like me.
Three stars for the fast deliveries, good carpet and good materiel. The missing two stars for the unforgivable sharp wire ends that stuck out on the uneven condo top, the shaky bed and the strong chemical smell from the sisal posts.

After "adopting" a Birman, my wife and I were looking for a high-quality condo with a sisal scratching post. We purchased this unit based on its favorable reviews. As it was priced higher than other units, we assumed the quality would reflect this.
On the day it arrived, my wife texted me a picture of our Birman (Belle) inside the condo. We now have two Birman cats and they love it! It was exactly as pictured: the colors were dead on, the carpet is plush, the stand is obviously built well, and the scratching post has taken at least a thousand shred sessions. This could not have been better for us.

We have 9 pieces of M+F cat furniture (all <5' because of the shipping/packaging issues). No piece has been as successful as this scoop and condo ... all 7 routinely perch, snooze, circulate through and on this wonderfully designed piece. It is even more popular than the "MOLLY" tube.
