Works as promised! Sep 14, 2010
By Z. Fraser Another reviewer has criticized this product for its strong scent, but I have tried a number of waterless shampoos for my cat, and have found this one to be the least offensive to both my cat and myself. The scent is flowery, but not overpowering, and the lavender *supposedly* relaxes your feline as you work foamy suds into their fur. My cat does not seem to mind the scent (and she is quite sensitive to strong smells), and it wears off after about a day.
What I like most about this product, is that it is all natural (no harsh chemicals), and it works. I am allergic to cats, and a weekly usage of this shampoo keeps the dander down to practically nil, which makes for excellent feline/human relations in our household. Great stuff!

Wonderful Product Feb 17, 2012
By Tiffany I was a little nervous buying this product, because some of the other reviews said that they thought the smell was too strong. I used it for the first time today and I LOVE IT. The smell is amazing and fresh. It is strong, but the smell is good and pure, not like a perfume or chemical scent, and it doesn't bother me. It actually is a pleasant smell. The thing that I really like about this product is that it is in a foam. My cat is afraid of sprays and aerosals. Before I got this, I would spray her with my own body sprays after she went to the bathroom (she smells horrible after that, might be the food, not sure yet)and she would run and hide. With this foam, she didn't seem to care at all. I thought she would hate it because after applying it, her fur was wet like it would be after bathing, but she actually seemed to enjoy it. She acted like she was being brushed, purring and rubbing against me. After applying it, I rubbed her with a towl, like the directions said, and she was dry without feeling oily or sticky from the shampoo. I am very pleased with this product and will continue to use it on my cat.

Fabulous foaming cat bath, far less traumatic for cats! Sep 17, 2010

I have found this product to be invaluable for keeping up with sick kitty's helping them stay clean and odor free. Much more easily tolerated than sink baths!

Not as good as a real shampoo and rinse, but it worked. My longhaired calico much appreciated not having to be bathed!

Happy Kitty, Happy Human Jan 08, 2011
By Raejean French Our long-haired cat hates a wet bath and there have been times when she has gotten VERY dirty looking as a result (her coat is mostly black). While this isn't truly a totally "dry" shampoo, I don't worry about her being chilled from it. It softens and conditions her coat so well that any built-up debris continues to comb out with ease days after using. And it smells wonderful. My only complaint is that it doesn't really go very far; count on using most of a bottle on one shampoo the first time.
