    4Great car pet barrier  Mar 25, 2010
    By Jocey "Jocey05"
I drive a Honda Element so finding a pet barrier that would expand large enough for my car was difficult. This barrier is great for keeping the dogs in the back instead of under my feet. Though one of my dogs is sneaky and has figured out a way to get around this barrier, it does work well.

5A great barrier for my Chessies  Aug 20, 2011
    By D. Gean
After trying a couple of other pet barriers I ordered this one. I have a 2011 Chevrolet Suburban and the others I ordered were not a fit for this vehicle. This works fine. It's nice looking, adjust for the space, and does what is designed to do. Read the instructions! The bolts have a notch on them and there is a special hole for them on the mounting bracket. Installation and assembly takes about 15 minutes. My 90 lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever stays where he is supposed to be. Not sitting on the leather seats.....

4Works great for my two pit bulls  Jan 01, 2011
    By B. Nichols "SleepingTiger54"
Before I got this one I got the Pet Net Barrier which was a complete joke. The next day I threw it out and bought this one. It went in much easier and is way more durable. It keeps my dogs in the back no problem. I only gave it 4 stars because it does have plastic clips that hold the bars in place, and if my dogs are rambunctious enough I fear they will jump on the bars and they'll snap, but they haven't so far. Very glad I bought this!

    4Pleased with purchace.  Nov 02, 2008
    By J. Tincher
Overall, this barrier works great and I've recommended it to friends. In my vehicle (Chrysler Sebring 4-DR sedan) it rides at a slight angle so it occasionally slips just a little at the ceiling, but I think I would find this with any similar barrier in this car. I would buy again!

    1Impossible to Assemble.  Jan 29, 2008
    By zzzhuh
The instructions say to "Insert verticle upright tubes through 2 of the plastic ...support brackets"." While that sounds like sliding it right through, in fact it's so tight that using WD-40 and a hammer, it still wouldn't slide. Then the plastic bracket split in the middle, (It didn't break at the top or bottom; it split like the seat of your pants) because the upright is too fat for it!

Order the Midwest Pet Barrier 11 with 6 Tubular Metal Bars only if you can get it assembled already. Let them deal with getting the replacement parts needed when you discover it is "Impossible to Assemble"!
