I used parts from this kit to allow fine-tuning of the separate filters on my heavily planted 75 gallon community tank. My air pump has two outlets, and I used 2 of the "T" fittings to make a "equalizing bridge" between the two outlets. I then used 2 of the control valves to allow individual control of each of the filters. Completely closing either valve diverts air through the equalizing bridge to the other filter, preventing the pump from laboring.
I found no problem with quality of workmanship or materials used. The plastic chosen seems to be a non-brittle, slightly flexible type, similar to that used in Tupperware.

These things work excellent. Dividing air flow to different accessories and being able to turn accessories fully off. They work excellent and hold very well.

I purchased this with the hopes that it will help me navigate my aerator pretty easily between my aquarium and my fish bowl (serves as an isolation tank when the fish are sick). I don't know if the problem was with the air pump or this kit but I had to crimp the tubes in order for the air to circulate in all of the "slots" .. or else it would just go to one tube and not to everything else.

Cheaply made product, very easy to strip the threads on airflow adjustment knob. Overall, not too impressed with the quality of items from this manufacturer. (15 years, experienced hobbyist) It will get the job done, but there are many more inexpensive alternatives that will yield far greater results.
