Great for agressive dogs that destroy regular frisbees Jun 22, 2007
By Erica Marshall I have a 80 pound lab mix dog who loves nothing more than chasing a frisbee in our backyard. The problem is, while bringing it back he chomps on it so hard that he either cracks the harder plastic frisbees or his teeth just pierce right through the softer plastic ones. This Kong frisbee is different, though. It's made of rubber instead of plastic, so it squishes rather than cracks when the force of his teeth is applied. Of course, this also makes it much easier on his teeth, but I worried about whether it would last. I bought it, though, since it was not much more expensive than the plastic ones I knew he'd destory.
After a half-hour of playing there was no visible wear on the frisbee, so I left it out in the yard. It's been out there for over 2 weeks now and we've played with it every day. There are a few (seriously) tiny tears in it -nothing I'm too concerned about. If and when this frisbee wears out I'll definitely buy another one!

Best of the bunch Aug 15, 2007
By Chipiparuba Flying disks are thin, and as such No-one will ever make an indestructible dog frisbee-that's just the nature of a frisbee. Having said this the Kong flyer outlasts other disks ten to one.
Prows:
* Very durable should last much longer than any other disk
* The soft rubber won't cut your dogs mouth when caught (especially important for smaller dogs or dogs just learning to catch disks)
Cons:
* It's floppy, and doesn't fly the same as a rigid disk (they still fly quite well especially with a little practice)
* A bit more spendy (When considering the average life-span of other dog frisbees the few extra bucks is well worth it.)

The Best Frisbee in the World Oct 09, 2006
By T. D. Golas My Aussie has used every kind of frisbee out there, and this is the only one that can keepp up with her play-style and schedule. The rubber keeps her from accidentally biting her tongue, and never gets sharp edges to cause any othe oral bleeding. It has great weight and flies well even in high winds.

worthless dog toy Apr 23, 2011
By Darth Cabrol-Easton Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2LVLMZPV9EFJ4 My 7 month old German Short-haired Pointer was able to completely destroy this fribee in 4 minutes. I'm not talking about some little tears and chew marks, i'm talking about completely shredded. My dog is not an overly aggressive chewer. This dog toy is garbage. Save your money.

Holds up to my terrier, and that's saying a lot Dec 08, 2009
By Working Mom I have a medium-sized, highly energetic fox terrier who loves to chew and tear apart toys (and things in general if she's allowed to). It's been 2 weeks and this frisbee has held up well so far. Despite my dog's daily efforts to chew, rip, tear, and break the thing, there is only one tiny nick to show for it. Mind you, my dog has torn through countless toys within an hour or two, many of which were labeled "indestructible" or "for powerful chewers." Even better, she absolutely loves playing with the frisbee and doesn't seem close to tiring of it. Great value for Amazon's price.
