I bought this on a whim for our Percheron mare after moving her to a new stable situation. She is no longer in a pasture 24 hours a day and instead now has to live in a stall in the barn with scheduled turn out times. I wanted to reduce her bordedom and stress with the change and the big ball toys were just getting stomped to a pulp. The loose treat balls that hang up in the stall are consumed within a couple of hours - her mouth is big enough to just grab hold and crunch it. This Jolly Pet Holder with the treat contained inside is a better system and so far has entertained her for a couple of days without inhaling the entire treat ball. It's also easily cleaned off which is always a big plus!
