Great looking dog bowl. Kinda heavy, but I guess that keeps it from scooting around when by golden is trying to get the last drop of food out of it. Don't bang your spoon on side when putting in canned food, as like any ceramic dish, the ceramic and paint will chip away.

These are the cutest dishes! They are festive and happy. I had been looking for these dishes for a couple of years and was very excited to find them. They are the type of ceramic dish that will chip easily, but since my dog doesn't use silverware that doesn't seem to be a problem. I'm not sure that he realizes how cute his dishes are. They were packed incredibly well for shipping--very impressive.

We picked up 6 of these for our 3 Goldens for food/water combos for each. Well made and very nicely finished. They've held up well to use and the dish washer as well. Extremely well packaged upon delivery in double box with bubble packing around them as well. One arrived chipped and Amazon replaced it at no charge within only a few days. An excellent value as well as a very colorful addition to your dogs dining area.
