Awesome dog toy Feb 08, 2011
By suzie My dog loves this. She carries it everywhere and it is one of the few toys she hasn't chewed up right away. She loves the squeaker in it.

My dog thinks it's her baby Jul 28, 2009
By Pollyanna M. Jacobs
"downwarddog"
The other day she tore up a stuffed animal in about 20 minutes. Not sure what's so different about this one but she's been carrying it around very softly in her mouth. She chews on it but not hard and she won't play tug of war with it. It's like it's her baby. Could it be because it's made of lamb's wool? Whatever it is I'm thrilled. She really seems to love it. It seemed like it might fall apart but so far so good.

Spero LOVES his "blue rat" Apr 07, 2009
By A. Edmondson This is my dog's absolute favorite toy!!! We call him blue rat and he is just crazy about him. He knows him by name and is happy to go fetch him anytime someone wants to play! He loves him so much that I am having to find the toy again online because its been "loved" so much. One thing I love about him though is that although the tail and ears have been ripped off, the body is still intact no matter what he does. Very soft and extra squeaky....great toy!

Side came unstitched instantly; legs come unbraided Dec 25, 2008
By C. Kennedy Our dog played with this about 2 minutes before the side stitching popped open and a leg fell out (or we just didn't look carefully when we bought it). On the other side, one of the braids had already come undone. Better make a good inspection before you hand it over to your dog - and keep checking. Ours is an 11-year-old minpin that still has his Lion King from a McDonald's Happy Meal that he got when he was just a puppy. He's not hard on toys. Tried to stitch it back up, but it takes a sewing machine to stuff the leg back in and seal the sides. We'll see how that goes. It does look very cute, but one star may be too much from a quality and safety standpoint.

Probably not a good choice for bigger dogs Mar 28, 2008

This toy was chewed apart in the first 24 hours by my 4 month old boxer mix. He liked it a lot but probably not the best choice for a bigger dog.
