5Birds love it!  Apr 18, 2010
By DivaDarling
The reviewers who are complaining that this birdbath is plastic must not have read the product description. It's very clear that it's made of plastic resin, which is a plus for me. It assembled easily in about a minute, all the parts fit together well, it's lightweight and easy to move and clean, and the birds love it. The ground stakes hold it firmly, and it's very attractive. Great product.

5Ordering 2nd of these birdbaths!  May 08, 2010
By J. Myers "spedprofessor"
I ordered this bird bath a year ago. Love how it looks in the front yard. Added a few colored pebbles in the middle for the birds to sit on as they bathe and drink. The birds love it. My cat loves watching them through the window. Am ordering my 2nd one of these today to add to a front flowerbed. Although the birdbath is made of plastic and very light, I have not had any problems with it falling over once the water and pebbles are in. I also covered the bottom with mulch. This birdbath also did well in the snow storms of last year. Would highly recommend.

5Great  Apr 20, 2009
By Joy L. Lee "Joy"
When I received this birdbath in the mail I was a little worried that because of the weight it would tip right over with the first little storm, but that was not the case. About 4 days after I put it in the yard we had a huge storm come through with lots of wind and it didn't move at all! I was very impressed. It also looks great and I've already had a few small birds start to use it!

5The birds love it!  Sep 13, 2010
By C. Barnes
The birds love it and I am not disappointed.

Some reviewers were upset that it is made of resin instead of copper.

The description plainly states that it is made from resin.

If it was winter, I don't think I'd want to step in the water and then back onto copper that might be 32° or less. It seems like the wet foot might just stick there to the frozen copper. In winter, resin seems like a better choice than metal of any kind for those bare and possibly wet bird feet.

The bird bath looks nice. It was a good value. I am happy with this purchase.
