This unit arrived in a shrink wrapped plain white box with the model number GR-BC3 sticker on the box and the product. However, the one I got looks very much different than the one on the Amazon web site. Additionally, it came with two AAA Duracell batteries already installed, and LEAKING! Residue from the leak had stained through to the outside of the battery compartment. It is as if this was a return or factory refurb shipped out without any thought of quality control.
