5Excellent broom!  Jan 29, 2011
By LAM
I purchased this broom because my dog is a bit of a shedding monster--not her fault, as she's a Lab. I had very little luck i keeping my floors clean until I realized I could use an electrostatic brush on them. I already had a small one, so I recently scrubbed all of my floors with it. It work very well, but I decided I needed something a little less time consuming. So I bought this--and it's amazing. I've only had it for three days, and I've used it every day so far. My floors, including carpet, aren't perfect--but they're already better than they were. I wouldn't advise using this broom to clean an entire large house or deep pile carpets, as I think it would be exhausting and possibly ineffective. But low pile carpets and uncarpeted areas should be fine. Also, it works just a bit better when it's wet--especially for carpet. And it doesn't leave the carpet soaked, either! There is a lip on one side that works very well for raking the hair up--I just found that out halfway through my cleaning today. Just using the broom itself works wonders on linoleum--but the carpet requires a little more effort to pull the hair along. This is not a push broom; it operates in much the same way as a traditional straw broom. The head was a little tough to get on--you have to twist it on, and that requires some strenght or patience. Also, the handle twists to extend and lock itself in place. It is a wonderful product for those needing something easy to use and quiet. My only complaint is that I may need to put the dog in her kennel while I clean; she is very curious about it--and I don't want the broom to end up as a dog toy!

4Useful!  Jun 15, 2008
By J. M. Gordon "Artist"
I was dubious, but, it works really well for cleaning my very short pile carpet. I've been trying forever to find a way to get long hair up when vacuums and tape and everything else was just not doing it. It does take a little elbow grease, and patience figuring out the best stroke direction, but after that, I got the hang of it!

5Works great!  Nov 18, 2006
By M. Grinnell
We have 2 long haired cats who loved sleeping on the one piece of upholstered furniture we have. The very first day we received the brush and broom we tried it and it worked great to removed the cat fur. It works much better than just the vacuum or lint roller that we had been using. It's a great item to have for the price!

5Best broom and brush!  Sep 22, 2006
By Christine S.
These are the best brooms and brushes! I have a very furry dog that sheds all over the place and I use these to get the hair out of the furniture, floor, clothes, etc. I've tried everything and these definitely work! I recommend to all pet owners.

5It's all in the stroke  Apr 18, 2011
By anti-Murphite
This item works great, if you had parents that would make you re-sweep the driveway until you got it right. It takes short strong strokes to be effective. I don't have any pets but my wife's hair has a life of its own. After buying several roller heads, belts and cutting hair from pulleys for our upright vacuum cleaner I wanted an alternative and this is it.
