If you knew the exact size gullet you needed, this kit would be overkill. However, since it has several gullets of varying size, you can fit most any saddle.

The starting instructions and ending instructions are easy to follow. However, the middle instructions are vague, particularly if you have never taken a saddle apart. If you are patient, you can figure it out, slowly, for yourself.

The gullets are sturdy, but you shouldn't have to spend $87.50 to make sure you have the right one. The product itself is excellent.
