Saw results after one use! Oct 24, 2010
By Joanna My rescue dog, Jericho has had skin problems his entire life. Eventually, I narrowed down his symptoms (flaky skin, greasiness, occasional red bumps, etc) to seborrhea. After reading reviews on this product, I decided to give it a try.
Although it was fairly expensive, this product worked wonderfully. I saw a difference immediately after Jericho's first bath. His flakes, greasiness and bumps are gone, and he seems so much more comfortable (and far less itchy). I will be buying this product again when I run out!

Really seems to help dog bounce back from grass allergies Jun 02, 2011
By Tora I have a 5 yr old dobie who suffers grass and pollen allergies. We just started her on injections + oral meds for allergies and she was still getting red itchy splotches on her belly. Hoping with the injections that her symptoms resolve as her immunity builds, but as we wait for that this shampoo is really the first thing we have found that helps and allows her to recover from the itchiness and splotches- she still gets them, but this is tolerable and they do go away within the hour after wiping her down where before this shampoo she would be itchy and splotchy every pollen season. Before this shampoo, we used a vet prescribed shampoo for allergies and that seemed to do only 30% of what this shampoo does. I started her off 2-3x per week with this shampoo, I am now using it 1x per week but might increase that when the pollen season gets bad again.

AMAZING RESULTS Jan 19, 2011
By sierragirl This shampoo is just amazing! My American Eskimo has suffered from sores and itching for a number of years. She has been biting and pulling her hair out causing bleeding and black scabs to form on the sores. The Vet would say "well it's just old age". Recently found another Vet who suggested this shampoo. Well, if dogs could talk she'd say " THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! " Yes, this product is rather expensive, but well worth it. She actually stopped itching 2 days following her first bath, we're now about to try the 3rd bath. Her skin is healing so nicely, the bumps are still there but they no longer look angry. Seeing is believing!

"palmetto poodle gal"
I am owned by a Standard Poodle with the autoimmune disease of Sebaceous Adenitis. The Douxo Seborrhea Shampoo and Spray have become "staples" in our home specifically for our poodle. The Douxo products really moisturize and soothe the skin. I use the spray between oil baths to avoid dry/flaky skin in the ears and on top of the nose plus any other areas as needed. Yes, Douxo is an expensive product but it works if used correctly. We have graduated from baths every other day to every 3 weeks within a years time with success. It smells really good too!

My dog loves it! Sep 28, 2007
By B. Keil While my dog doesn't really like getting a bath, he definitely feels better after using Douxo. It gives him relief from his skin condition.
