This toy is a fantastic toy for puppies. It's meant for teething puppies, to cool their sore gums, but it also has appeal for puppies who are no longer teething. The crinkling edges, ribbons, and knotted ties have a lot of appeal. Beware though--you don't want to buy this toy for a large breed puppy or a dog--it is NOT big and will NOT hold up.

The pictures are VERY deceiving!!! The toy arrived and it's the smallest $7 dog toy I've ever seen. You'd be better off buying something from one of the big chain pet stores

Quick delivery. The teething stick did not stay frozen for long and the puppy lost interest rather quickly. Great concept, but it needs to become, basically, an ice cube.

My expectations for this item were relatively low but it turns out to be the best thing I've gotten my (now) 10 week old puppy - he loves it!
I'm not sure what it is about it that makes it so great for him - the crinkling sound when he chews on it, the coldness/wetness, and the strands that come off it all seem to be a factor - but for a good 10 minutes or longer he'll completely focus on it and that isn't the case with really any of his other toys. Then I'll wet it and throw it in the freezer for later.
The big bonus here is that it really seems to calm him down. Almost every time he's gotten a little out of control energy wise and I've given it to him he'll chew it for a while and then lay down to take a nap once he's done. I'm very thankful for that!
For the price I'd definitely recommend giving this item a shot for small puppies!

My puppy is teething (just like a child) and this works great! Wet it and put in freezer and then let them chew, the frozen item feels good on their gums. Works perfect!!!
