This boot jack works well and is nice-looking. It does not have any leather in the "V" to protect the boots from scuffing, which has not been a problem yet might might be over years of use.

The rubber inlet where you place your heal, pulls out of its groove. So if you dont want to scuff your boot you have to put it back in place and try again. Not sure if mine is just defective or if its a common problem; however it still works and Im able to take my boots off without having to call 2 friends to help.

This Wooden Boot Jack is in no way a disappointment. It is simple, strong and utilitarian. It works a treat, I no longer have to go to bed with my boots on.

Okay, there are cheaper ones out there, but I needed these pronto as I was killing my back trying to get boots off by myself... so Amazon ships in two days and I had the item... it was worth the money and this jack is very nice and does not mark up my good boots... so is perfect!!
