My dogs LOVE the mud - we always joke that our yellow lab always wanted to be a black lab because he's typically that filthy. This shampoo works great! It smells wonderful and makes fur super soft and shiny. I usually dilute the shampoo adding it to a squirt bottle with warm water - that way we use less and still end up with a clean dog after our daily mud romp.

Excellent gentle shampoo with 'cuddly' scent Apr 03, 2009

We use this on our four adult dogs as well as two puppies. It's gentle, brings out the shine and softness in their coats, plus rinses off cleanly and easily. Soft powdery scent -- just the right amount of fragrance to make your best buddies smell fresh, but not overpoweringly perfumed. Our most recent addition to the family was a stray from the animal shelter, and Crazy Pet's Baby Dog Shampoo took out all the kennel smells and nasty grime that our little inmate acquired during his four weeks in lock-up. Love this shampoo!

My 9 pound Shih Tzu smells wonderful with this product. Just like a baby! I love picking him up and holding him. I highly recommend this product!

Have you ever noticed most pet shampoos leave your dog smelling like you smeared urinal cakes all over it? Well, this one doesn't. For that, it gets five stars. I have no idea if it gets all the dirt out or is tear-free (can dogs cry?). It's probably not manufactured from sustainable animal lard and doesn't biodegrade easily. But dammit, the dog doesn't smell like a public restroom and for that I am thankful.

The shampoo seems to do it's job well. I've had compliments from others on how good my dog smells after giving him a bath and shampoo, but I'm not really partial to the scent. I think it's supposed to smell like baby powder, but something scent wise seems a bit off if that's what they are trying copy.
I'm in the process of looking for another shampoo that does a good job and smells a little better, at least when combined with the typical "Wet Dog" smell.
